The Doctor bag is one of the signature pieces of the Tagliovivo collection, here presented in the M size. Practical yet elegant, this handbag is meticulously crafted from vegetable-tanned culatta reverse leather.

Part of the Autumn–Winter 2025–26 “Ultra Renaissance” collection, it embodies Tagliovivo’s heritage while ushering in a new era of contemporary craftsmanship. The Doctor M now comes with a detachable shoulder strap, allowing it to be worn crossbody for modern versatility.

Inside, it offers thoughtful functionality with both a zipped pocket and an open leather pocket, all lined in 100% natural linen. The distinctive hook closure, hand-forged from wrought iron, adds a touch of artisanal uniqueness to every piece.

Each Doctor bag is individually handmade, ensuring that no two are ever the same—a timeless creation designed to last a lifetime.

    Care

Vegetable-tanned leather is celebrated for its ability to develop a rich, distinctive patina over time, allowing you to enjoy your bag without worry. However, it’s important to keep it away from water, as this type of leather is not naturally water-resistant. If it does get wet, gently blot the moisture away immediately with a soft, dry cloth.

When caring for your bag, use products cautiously—applying them to stained areas can sometimes deepen the mark. For regular cleaning, we recommend using a soft cotton cloth and glycerin cream to delicately wipe the entire surface. This simple routine nourishes the leather, preserving its beauty and prolonging its life.

Natural variations in tone, shading, and texture are inherent to vegetable-tanned leather and make each piece truly unique. Over time, signs of aging such as subtle stains, scratches, and the gradual development of patina enrich the leather’s character. These nuances—differences in tone, shading, and texture, along with the marks of wear—are not imperfections, but rather hallmarks of quality and authenticity that reflect the leather’s natural aging process.
